Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in a great game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the house, unlike almost all other poker games that players wager with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to fret about any other, more experienced players winning their moolla.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game pace, beginners can take their time and strategize while not having to make quick choices.
It is also much simpler to play for an extended time with only a tiny amount of money seeing as, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino gets seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
