You may remember one of the largest pots in big stakes poker recorded history competing against Daniel Negreanu. Hansen secured a massive pot with 4 of a kind against Daniel’s full house. Gus has earned many tv poker appearances and is deemed to be one of the best bettors anywhere in the world. While gambling on web poker, a different side of Hansen has appeared. Gus regularly participates in the 200/400 NL max buy-in of Forty Thousand dollars. Hansen usually buys in for the min of Sixteen Thousand dollars and gambles very weak. He sits there waiting for a decent hand and then pushes all-in. I know Hansen is an amazing poker player but not even close to the regular players at 200/400no limit. Unless Gus is bankrupt, he has absolutely no reason to sit at the game with the minimum buy-in.
