Online poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers receive five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the showdown. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a sum in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The casino pays out money equal to your bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:

• Equal for a pair or high card
• 2-1 for two pairs
• 3-1 for 3 of a kind
• 4-1 for a straight
• 5-1 for a flush
• seven to one for a full house
• 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
• fifty to one for a straight flush
• 100-1 for a royal flush
